These pieces were created in response to, and as a way to process, the atrocities committed against the Palestinian, Sudanese, and Congolese peoples. Using patterns from the fabrics of their cultures, including the keffiyeh, and combining them with my own paintings, I trained an AI model to create new imagery, blending the patterning and representing the interweaving of all peoples’ freedom.
