It’s interesting to me how toxic positivity is full of empty hope, and people somehow find that comforting. I see radical hope as starkly different. It exists within darkness, it accepts it, and acknowledges it. For me, the concept of radical hope is connected to that of the memento mori - an illuminating reminder that the end comes for us all, but this isn’t it yet.
