Waveform Monoprints

Iteration is one of my methods for working. I am investigating an unknown, collecting information to gain a better understanding of it. There are innumerable to infinite iterations to be generated from my original work. I use my intuition and training to make selections. There are further explorations to be done from each of these points. These monoprints were a way to bring these digital images into the physical world again, continuing their iteration in a different way.

It feels important to the process that the work becomes more tangible again. Whatever the unspoken phenomenological knowledge that exists within the work, that is being processed, comes back to the body, reintegrating in a new form that is more harmonized.

The selected Waveform still images were printed and transferred to a gel plate, with color layered on top. I used acrylic paint and archival paper.
